The Spring Fairy

The steps are so gentle

On the dew covered floor,

The sounds, so light,

Like a cat’s paws on carpeted ground.

The world she walks through,

Is cold and dead, lifeless.

With a flutter of those wings,

The touch of her silken fingertips,

A kiss from her lips,

And life is restored.

The ice melts,

The trees bud,

The flowers bloom.

It is obvious, the Fairy of Spring has come.

Fashion for Life - Angelwing

On occasion I get in a fanciful dress up mood.  And it's Spring so I have an excuse to wear lots of flowers - as if I need an excuse.

While I browsed around Fashion for Life (donations go to cancer research) I was inspired by Angelwings to indulge that ultra girlie side of myself.  The hair on top is from EMO-tions (tinted to add a hint of my trademark red) and the other is from Exile.
