Fashion For Life Starts Tomorrow - Unless You're a VIP

I love Second Life, and sometimes I love it a lot - like when we come together to do good. Fashion For Life is an annual mega shopping event in Second Life which supports Relay for Life, a campaign to raise funds for The American Cancer Society. Spread across 10 connected sims, all designers are offering a percentage of their sales on every item to Relay For Life. As of midnight on the 7th of June to the 20th of June, you can feed your shopping habit and support a worthy cause.

Today for a donation of $2,500 L, 100 people will become early access VIPs. Only 100 people over 10 sims for an uncrowded, unlaggy shopping experience. Here's how you do it:

Donate 2500 lindens to Relay For Life at a special vendor on the American Cancer Society’s sim. THIS TAXI will drop you right in front of the vendor. In exchange for your donation, you will get to enjoy the sims avatar and lag free and be first to see all the exclusives. Contact the lovely Cajsa Lilliehook inworld if you need further assistance.

After I Log Off the Fun Begins

Strawberry Singh has given us two ideas for this week's meme/challenge. The first one captured my imagination enough to ponder it for awhile so I had to peek in at Dolly's offline life. The second requires me to grab one of my friends for a picture, so I might try that later this week.

To be totally honest, Dolly manages to go her own way at times even when I'm logged on, so I wasn't particularly surprised to catch her primping for her next day's photo shoots and role play. She is vain and at times overly dramatic so I expect some sulking over this picture. I caught her rocking out to Billy Joel's "You May Be Right," and singing into her hairbrush!
