Black and White - a Meme

I love it when Strawberry Singh's meme for the week is a photography challenge. This week she has challenged us to take a headshot with black and white processing in mind. I like the drama of black and white photography, and find the studies in contrasts fascinating. There are lots of gorgeous submissions to the Blog Meme flickr group and I highly recommend looking through them. Thanks, Berry, for the challenge!

Oh wow! Hart Larsson of PXL Creations has set my heart aflutter with two stunning vintage specialty skins. The first is Diva, available as a donation item at Love Donna Flora! I've seen several Marilyn inspired skins over the years but this is the very best of the bunch. I modded my eyes and lips a bit to look a little more like Marilyn, and added PXL Creations' OpenMouth teeth for the picture. The ring is a Donna Flora creation with a color change hud for the stone. There is more than one way to support Squinternet Larnia!

As for the second, I was lucky enough to receive a preview of PXL Creations' Kate Vintage skin for August's Collabor88 beginning August 8th. I can't decide whether I'm a 20's flapper or a 30's movie star. Whichever I am, I love it. The Lazuri ring is color change and available now as a donation item at Love Donna Flora!

Bandana Day at Hair Fair 2013

Tomorrow is the last day of Hair Fair 2013 and there is a charming tradition observed by caring fashionistas and hair addicts all over the grid on that day.
