It's January Collabor88 Time!

How many great Collabor88 creations could I fit into one picture?  Seven - without even trying hard.  The house from Trompe DeLoeil is amazing.  The living room set from Cheeky Pea with a pop of green and gold is a winner.  And fashion - well, I loved the Auxiliary tube top with belt so much I went back for a second color.  The Cae necklace and Maxi Gossamer bangles gave me an oh-so-chic feeling as I piled them on.  The LaGyo beret fit perfectly over my first Tableau Vivant hair.

The opening day crowd is gone now, so go grab some demos to try on, a house, furniture, skybox or two, and some jewelry while you're at it, and have some fun.

Two Make a Heart, See?

Awww, this sweet couple pose from oOo, her gift for the With Love Hunt, made my heart melt when we tried it.  What a darling tableau!  Clay really is the sort of sweetheart that would turn my candy cane into a heart, so it suits us.  We're getting into the Christmas spirit with the Cheeky Pea antler tree available at this month's Men's Dept.  My outfit, hair and jewelry, and the mesh house in the background are from December's Collabor88.  Clay still looks handsome and fashionably current in his Fatewear finery.  Joy to the world!

It's nice to come home

I enjoyed my week at the lake taking pontoon boat rides and enjoying sunsets while watching deer creep up to the water's edge from the deck of the house.  The weather was perfect, the company was wonderful, but it's nice to get home to my own home, too.  Since all the Collabor88 things are new to me I couldn't help but take a picture of Trompe DeLoeil's gorgeous kitchen. 

This new long long hair from Lelutka tickled my fancy, or maybe it just tickled my ass.  New HAIR! YAY!

52 Weeks of Color Challenge - Tyrian Purple by Dolly

In the color challenge I always cringe a bit when a purple hue comes up, but you know what? I'm starting to embrace that mix of red and blue.  I really liked this shade, at least with the pale skin I'm wearing today.  I'm not sure where this purple fear comes from!  I'm also loving having my own little castle in the sky thanks to Trompe DeLoeil.  Pick it up at this month's Collabor88, it's gorgeous.

August Collabor88 Goes for Baroque!

Baroque - extravagantly ornate, florid, and convoluted in character or style.

Yes, Collabor88's theme for August is Baroque, and what do you know! I'm Baroque.  Isn't that the very definition of Dolly Baroque?  So Collabor88 is all about me.  Thank goodness I have the feathery bit of poofery to hide the big head.  Maybe it's just a coincidence, but there is a washer and dryer set named Dolly that I promise I'll blog soon.  Uh huh.... I love you too Collabor88 and happy birthday!  I've loved having Collabor88 to look forward to every month for the past year.

If you still aren't convinced that this month's Collabor88 is all about me, how about this... Today is my rez day.  Really, it is.  Coincidence? I think not.
