Teller of Tales, Fairy Tales

This morning I went to the Fairy Tales in 2012 event and picked up a few fun items.  One of my favorites was this great looking dress and capelet from Chantkare.  Just as I was trying it on, I received this fabulous hat in a group gift from Ladies Who Lunch, which is related thematically to that shop's exhibit at the event. 

I can't decide whether I'm the sweet and fashionable maiden or the evil but very well dressed queen.  I know which would be more fun....

Maitreya Essentials

Maitreya released more meshy goodness at the weekend.  Unfortunately the skinny jeans didn't fit me.  Perhaps I need to go on a diet, though I'm kinda attached to my curvy hips and soft belly!  Instead I opted for the skirts which are just as fantastic and the medium size tailored my shape perfectly.

She's SOOOO Busted

Batman follows his suspicions about the culprit of Dolly's burglary to Ayla's home.  

He looks in her bedroom window, not because he's a perv but because he's pursuing justice.

Dolly wanders over the hill dressed neck to toe in her new outfit from Ladies Who Lunch that she picked up at the Mix+Mesh event.  She peeks in Ayla's window to see what has captured Batman's interest.  

Her evident shock as she sees her friend don the costume of the arch villainness, Catwoman, makes her practically topple over.  Thank goodness the caped crusader was there to catch her....(to be continued eventually)

A Leopard Can't Change Her Spots

Ladies Who Lunch sent a group notice out about some new releases the other day so I moseyed over to take a look.  I don't know if this dress (in a multitude of color and pattern options) is part of the new releases but it's an amazing mesh dress.

For those of you on Phoenix and limited to only one alpha layer, give this dress a try.  It has glitch layers instead of alpha, and it seems to work quite well, blending perfectly.

I would have liked to demo this dress before buying, but there was no demo.  The dress did not come in standard sizes, so I consider myself lucky that it fit so well in the average size.

I can see accessorizing this dress in many ways, but to show to you I added a scarf from Miel, Maitreya sandals and Dark Mouse earrings. The gold clutch was a Christmas gift to me from my friend April.  It's from Indyra Originals. Hair is by Lelutka and my new favorite skin is from Glam Affair.
