There are a lot of lovely bikinis out there but I found this one from G Field from last year and thought it deserved a picture. I was actually trying to put a look together for this GizzA basket I picked up at the Arcade Gacha when I came across it. I love finding things that I completely forgot I had! You can get the sunglasses from Conspiracy Theory at the Gacha event too.

Like most bloggers, I have a humongous inventory with a ton of clothes I seem to forget about. I think it would be fun to raid it for future blog posts. It's such a shame for it all to hang in there getting all moth balled, plus it would save a lot of Lindens too! (waiting for the stereo typical tight arsed Scot comments)

A Tease in a Corset

I went to League today to see if she had released the skin applier for my SLink hands.  It wasn't there yet, but I did find this sexy new mesh corset and skirt.  The corset has a hud to add studs and change the sleeves.  I had to have it.  The texturing at League has always been amazing, and I'm happy to see that continue in the move to mesh.

Back to my current obsession with SLink hands (and feet).  Though the League hand appliers aren't out yet, Izzie's are.  I also picked up a nail polish applier from Izzie's.  Fabulous!

In Bloom

Today is a good day.  In my real life I noticed a few pink blossoms on my cherry tree which means we will have Spring!  Of course last year it bloomed in February due to an unseasonably warm winter, but this year I'm so ready for Spring to begin.

In my Second Life it's a good day because I managed to put together an outfit, pose and setting to my satisfaction - trust me, it doesn't happen that often.  The silk blouse is from 22769 Casual Couture and the espadrilles from Gos Boutique - both currently for sale at Liaison Collaborative's Boutique.  The summery floral shorts are a new release from One Bad Pixel.  I featured the Gypsy caravan from Zigana in an earlier post.  It's still available at The Arcade Gacha Event.

Summer Dreaming

Hello! It's been over a month since I last blogged, it's been weeks since I've been on Second Life at all really. I had a lot of shopping to catch up on.  Collabor88, The Arcade Gacha, Fameshed to name a few. Anyway, I took this snap of me in a little cute outfit from C88. It made me want summer so I took myself off to Alirium where's it's summer all year round. Makes up for the snow we have had this week. Snow, in March?!

Hucci Cutie

Now this is an outfit I would wear forever! The dress is from Hucci at the months FaMeshed and comes in a number of patterns/colours. It makes me feel so sexy. To add a little cute to the sexy (always a good idea), I wore this new style from Truth. It makes me squeeeeee with happiness!

A bloggers work is never done. Even in the middle of winter, through blizzards, hail and high winds, we are out scouting for new inspiration. Just happens I didn't have to look far for this picture. My little corner of the grid is gorgeous and sometimes forget it when I am out looking at locations for shoots.

We've Been Good This Year (mostly)

It's the one-year anniversary of Double Exposure, the collaborative blog of Dolly Baroque and Ayla Qinan.  How better to celebrate than to wear the same outfits (on purpose for once) and pose together using oOo's fabulous friends poses.  It's a wonder we have hair in these pics, we suffered so, keeping everything rezzed and gridline free.  Lots of blogs do interviews so on our first anniversary we thought we'd interview each other.  We do have the right not to answer and to ask for a lawyer if necessary.

Dolly:  So Ayla, what surprised you most about becoming a blogger?

Ayla:  What really surprised me was how bad my photography skills were when I look back to the start of our blog. I thought I was quite good but jeezo, how wrong was I? I think every blogger improves with time though, as they discover new tricks and find their own style. I think we have both improved immensely, and I love that we have our own unique styles but blend beautifully, making the blog consistent.

Ayla:  Dolly, what do you enjoy most about blogging?

Dolly:  It varies with my mood.  Sometimes I love putting an outfit together just so, and showing it off with a pic.  Other times it's about delivering on a challenge, like the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge.  Sometimes it's all about a pose that inspires me, or a new SL photography technique that I want to try.  I'm like the furthest thing from an expert with photo editing, but I kind of like messing around and trying things in GIMP.  I enjoy writing, but for blog posts I think the photos are the story, so I focus on them and keep the writing to a minimum.  And last but far from least, I'm very gratified when anyone tells me they like one of my blog posts.

Dolly:  Do you have a favorite blogger, Ayla? Other than us, of course.

Ayla:  I read the feeds and see many fantastic bloggers but there is one blog I subscribed to because of its quirky nature and its kookie cute style. I always look forward to getting the e-mail from Not Quite Pink because I know there is going to be something blogged that I need and Magenta DeVinna makes me smile.

Ayla:  How about you, Dolly? Who's your favorite blogger?

Dolly:   I'm predictable in that I never fail to read top fashion blogs like Strawberry Singh and Gogo's Juicybomb.  I like seeing what they post, how they put looks together, and I really like how their photos have a consistent style - each in her own way.  Neva Crystall's posts in How Neva Sees It make my jaw drop.  I wish I had 1/10th of the talent she displays in every carefully constructed picture.  And again, she's consistent in her style which to me is a blogger/photographer strength - and one that I lack.  I can dream though.

Dolly: What's your favorite type of thing to blog?  And what's the blog post you're most proud of and why?

Ayla:  Hmm, I do love my more risque posts. I like to show my sultry, seductive side with maybe a little hint of naughty. The blog I am most proud of has to be Wistful.  It's not spectaular, I'm no editing wizard, but I love the softness and the peacefulness of it. Also, it's the blog post that earned me most hits ever!

Dolly:  Oh, that pic for the Wistful post was gorgeous.  I loved it.  But really, what's with the naked pics?  Are you some sort of perv? (wink, wink)

Ayla:  Yes, yes I am.  The fact that naked pics get the most hits gives me a pervy little thrill.  And we both know you're a perv, too. You're just more embarrassed about it.

Dolly:  What? Me a perv? (cough, cough) Time to change the subject.  Would you prefer a less bossy blogging partner?

Ayla:  No, I just ignore you when you get bossy, like you are being right now about this blog post!!

Ayla:  OK, this is probably the most important question of all.  What drives you crazy about me?

Dolly:  This is where I ask for a lawyer, right?

My Favourite Distraction

These phone poses are new from Estetica and are lots of fun. There are 10 poses in all and the phone prop and a face animator are included too. I don't have much else to say this today. It's the 1st of December and I am dying to visit all the advent stores and the gacha event, oh and Fameshed. It's going to be a busy afternoon!

There is still no cure for mornings...

...but coffee helps. I was up at the crack of dawn this morning so I jumped on and checked out some of this weeks new releases. I ended up at Maitreya and loved this sweater dress. I imagined me throwing something like this on first thing in the morning to get up for coffee, then have a good slob around in it. I imagine you can dress it up a bit too, but I'm in a lazy mood so this suits me!

Call Me, Maybe?

This dress is another stunning creation from our friends at 22769 Casual Couture and it's available at the Fair event which started on 20th October and runs 15th November.  I love the colour, the pattern, the detailed folds and creases and it hugs my figure perfectly! Nice one boys!

This is the first time I have used projectors in my pictures. It comes in very handy for indoor shots when shadows are impossible to get unless you aren't completely closed in. Very nifty I must say!

It's been a while since I did a risqué blog post and the urge took me today, so here it is.  I LOVED the skybox from this months Fameshed and it was the perfect backdrop for this simple white chair from Cluttered Flowey. Cleo Design at Fluid

Fluid is officially open and the theme for the first rotation is Summer Fun.  This will include props and poses designed for the beach, picnics and amusement parks.  Cleo Design have three animation loaded items:

Fortune Teller

The Fortune Teller a is cute, quirky little build, ideal for roleplay.  I dressed up as a gypsy and invited Dolly along for a reading.  I'm not so sure if she was entirely happy with my predictions, but I did tell her she was going to find love.  Watch out for the sultry readhead on the prowl!

Lemonade Stand

The second design is a darling little lemonade stand, ideal for a beach party or suchlike.  As you can see it sits 2 avatars in various animations and if you touch the white jug you get cake and lemonade to use as props.

Carousel

The last one from Cleo Design is a fun little carousel.  It sits 6 avatars and slowly rotates, another great addition to a party.

Lazy A:S:S Days

Last week I won the A:S:S Your Song Flickr Contest blogged here, and as well as winning $1000L I won 6 months free releases!  I am going to blog items as I can, I don't have a malt so some items could be tricky, but I thought it would be fun to blog these Lazy Day2 Undies.

Here I am just out of bed on a lazy Sunday morning.  I pulled on a pair of Mr Q's nut huggers and sneaked over to Dolly's to steal some of her coffee.  Shh, don't tell her. You all saw Dolly style me the other day, in a look that was out of the box for me, and what a fabulous job she did.  Now it's my turn to style Dolly in a more Ayla way.  If you read our blog you will have realised by now that I am fond of bearing flesh, so this was definitely the way I wanted to go.  We picked up this saucy, provocative and devilishly slutty little dress from The Whore Mansion, chosen because it had a hint of nipple peepage and showed off her sumptuous bum.  Though when I decided to use this box from ILAYA to take the snaps it hid most of that.  This just wouldn't do, so I got her naked!

So here we have my gorgeous friend in all her naked glory.  Isn't she beautiful?  I really do think Dolly has to get naked more often, I shall have to nag her out of her conservative ways.  Maybe sometime we can do a naked blog together.  What do you think of that idea, Miss Dolly?

After leaving me tied up in the cell all night and all day, Mr Q finally came to release me.  I actually think he felt a bit sorry for me, though I would have much preferred my food and water to come in something other than dog bowls.  Nevertheless, I licked them dry with my parched tongue. "So can we go home now?" I asked, wiping my chin against my shoulder to clean the slobbers. "I have shopping to get in and the nanny will be needing a break from our devil children..."  The truth was, I was desperate to shower and jump into our cozy bed for a proper sleep.  There was no reply other than him gently sweeping his fingers through my hair and giving my cheek a tender caress.  I looked up, my eyes locked with his and I recognised that familiar twinkle.  "I guess not then..." I whispered lowly, while my gaze dropped to his groin magnetically.

52 Weeks of Colour - Aquamarine by Ayla

I LOVE this weeks colour.  I had a few aquamarine outfits in my closet but when I went to this months Collabor88 and saw this cute little mesh romper with matching wedges from Hucci I had to use it for this weeks colour challenge. I'm really loving all the new seasons releases, it makes me happy to adorn spring and summer fashion and it fair puts me in the mood to go out in the sunshine! (A rarity in Scotland, but i can dream).
