We Heard That Gentlemen Preferred Blondes

The other day my good friend and fellow mischief maker, Aprilmae Devin, commented on my Vintage Women post. I was a brat in return and practically ORDERED her to make some Marilyn Monroe poses. She makes very very naughty animations and some less naughty poses (because I make her do it). Here's a TP to Alterior Motions if you're adult verified.

Well, she did it. Marilyn poses! We donned our favorite Hucci costumes, rustled up a couple of top hats from another outfit and took a picture. The Marilyn poses will be released soon.

I took another photo because April made several poses and I was messing around with projectors. I'm also a magpie who had to have the latest One Bad Pixel release because - ooh look - spangles!

Love Donna Flora - It's About Style

The Love Donna Flora! event begins July 25th and runs through August 11th. I wrote about it earlier in THIS POST. I Can Walk In These Shoes

This post wouldn't have happened if Clay Cowen hadn't pointed out a series of Jimmy Choo shoe ads that made him think of me - a redhead with a shoe obsession. I passed the link on to Aprilmae Devin who made some very nice sitting poses (not yet released) for her store, Alterior Motions - some inspired by the ads. All I needed was a new pair of shoes and the Gos Boutique Lauren d'Orsay shoes at The Liaison Collaborative Boutique were the clear winners.

Botanicals is at Collabor88 this month with a romantic ruin that makes a terrific backdrop for photos. I of course had to snatch it right up.

Mermaids' Song

April and I became mermaids yesterday.  She has a real thing for mermaids (and mermen, I suspect).  So when I told her that Celoe and Lelutka had combined to make a line of mermaid - umm - outfits?  accessories? tails? Whatever.  When I told her about Erare, the new mermaid fantasy store, she was ready to shop.  Turns out she had made gorgeous mermaid poses for her store, Alterior Motions, so I snapped a quick pic.  April added a tattoo layer to her mermaid and I put on my EMO-tions hair instead of the hair that comes with the mermaid.  Now all we need is a sailor or two.

Funny aside.  This morning I couldn't log into SL due to rolling restarts and I complained on Plurk.  The beautiful Sylvia Olivier suggested I type Sargasso into my destination box.  I did and arrived in an underwater sim in full mermaid regalia!  So I took another pic.

On the Red Carpet

Ayla and I had fun planning this photo shoot together to celebrate glamorous Academy Awards dresses for the 2013 Oscar Fashion Photo Contest recently announced here by Harper Ganesvoort.  We looked around for a location, but I ended up building a set from odds and ends in my inventory.  AprilMae Devin, our dear friends and sim mate, made the poses for us!  Shopping for and styling the outfits - well - that was sheer pleasure.

Ayla's been ill lately, but she's recovering, much to my relief - not to mention her own.  We're all glad you're feeling better Ayla.  You've been sorely missed!

Let's Play

Come into my library and take a look at my leather.  Chairs that is.  Dutchie has released an entire mesh grouping - bookcases, lamps, a fireplace, rug, side table, candlestick and even an ancestor to hang over the mantle.  He's there to watch over the adult games that are sure to take place in the sexy chairs designed for the domme or dom roleplayer and their happy victims.  I can't wait to see Clay.  He'll be putty in my hands.  Bwahahaha!

This was the perfect excuse to try out my friend April's Domme poses at Alterior Motions, her adult only animation and pose store.  And yes, the crop is included with the set.  Do I look fierce or what?  I think great grandpa behind me approves.

Just Hooping Along

Doesn't this pose make you want to move your hips?  My dear friend AprilMae Devin has lots of animations in her store, Alterior Motion, that make me want to move my hips (but most of them are naughty).  She is kind enough to make poses, too (when I beg).  I adore the movement she manages to imply in static poses, and her hooping set of 10 poses and hoops is full of fun and energy.

Bollywood Poses

 Ayla and I blog together but we're two parts of a terrible trio in our little part of SL.  AprilMae Devin is our third Musketeer. She makes oh-so-naughty animations for her store Alterior Motions, and a nice selection of static poses as well.  She passed me her latest set of poses called Bollywood packaged in a convenient two-button hud and available at her store and on the Marketplace.

I looked for a sari or harem pants to give me the proper Bollywood feel, but I'm currently obsessing over a new show on TV called "Bunheads" about ballet dancers and Vegas showgirls.  So instead, I'm practicing the moves looking like a ballerina in my sweatshirt, tights and ballet slippers. (giggle)

The Comic Capers Continue

Last time I left you I was about to head off to snoop around April's cottage to see if I could aquire anything that would help aid my shopping addiction.  Of course, unbeknownst to me I had been spotted in costume.  I stealthily snuck my way though Dolly's and over the hill to April's grottier, more dangerous side of the island.  You never know what kind of riffraff she's got lurking around, so I had sharpened my best weapons, ready to gouge anyones eyes out who got in my way.

Unfortunately I wasn't expecting to run into a couple of well known, feisty super villains.  Before I knew it they appeared out of nowhere and accosted me, even my claws couldn't save me from these two. Although, I did manage to leave them with some trademark cat scatches in the struggle.  The blonde was a nasty piece of work, she grabbed me by the tail and you don't want to know what she did next, while the scantily clad, confident redhead bound me with poison ivy then hauled me to April's cottage.  At least I reached my destination, albeit, not quite as planned.

There they strapped me to a chair and started their interrogation.  Me being my usual stubborn self at first refused to cooperate when they asked me if I knew anything of a certain robbery that occurred a few weeks past.  After some venomous threats they dealt me the biggest blow.  They were going to tell my husband if I didn't confess.  The last time I got into a tiny spot of trouble it ended up with me clearing the paths of horsepoop with a teaspoon, and cleaning a mangy, skanky horse.  I knew Mr Q would believe them, he knows me and my mischief making all too well.  So I admitted the offence and the only way of keeping my crooked ways a secret was if I joined the darkside and help them in their mission to take over the island, and one certain caped crusader.

So here I am on my knees, pledging allegiance to the dark side, committing myself to the cause and no doubt dropping myself into the biggest plot of mischief I've ever gotten myself involved in.  Secretly, I also prayed for someone to save me.  All I wanted was to pilfer some cash to go shopping with.  What have I done?  And who is that lurking in the doorway?

I soon learned the creepy guy with the funny face was the man in charge of the other two vixens, apparently he calls the shots and is also Batmans biggest enemy, The Joker.  How in hell did I manage to get myself into this mess, and who is going to save me from a life of crime?  For now I will just have to go along with it, heaven forbid they drop me in it with the other half.  He'd go bananas!

All the poses in this blog, except the first which is by Olive Juice (it was Bella Baroque whose poses got got us started with this story) were made by the lovely Aprilmae Devin who owns Alterior Motions the place to go if you are looking for hard edge, BDSM animations, though she does have a good selection of model poses too, and furnishings.  As you can see, her vivid imagination is portrayed amazingly in these poses, specially made for our comic crime capers.  Visiting her store is a must for all your kinksters out there!

I Love Milena and Mynerva

I've been a fan of Mynerva skins for a good while now.  Kianna was my go to skin for a long while until I discovered Glam Affair and became a Glam girl.  But at heart I'm more of a natural girl.  

I blogged about Mynerva's new Milena skin before, liking it but waiting for the full line to come out before deciding to fall in love.  Well, it's out and I'm in love.  I have the Milena Pure skin in champagne (shown below) which is a practically no makeup look.  It comes with loads of options for freckles, eyebrows or no eyebrows (and she sells great tattoo eyebrows separately to customize your look), and different cleavages.  But the great thing is... you can buy tattoo makeups and expand your options by - let me do the math here - a gajillion!  Above I'm wearing the eye makeup from one makeup package and the lipstick from another, all specially made for Milena.  

If you know darn well you'd never be caught dead with as little makeup as Milena Pure you can buy a different Milena skin with more eye makeup and forego the tattoos.  Mynerva's all about choices to customize your avi.  It's a lot of work for the creator.  She did an awesome job and I applaud her work.

12 Days of Lingerie Challenge - day 2 Dolly

On day two of the Lingerie Challenge I pulled this DeviousMinds number out of inventory and matched it to my Pixel Mode pumps. The hair is mesh from Wasabi Pill. My come hither pose comes from my good friend April from her store, Alterior Motions.

Peek-a-boo

I just wanted to give you a very quick update.  The Artistic Nudes poses that I've been using in a couple of recent blog posts from Alterior Motions were released today.  I love these poses!

My friend April makes animations and poses - mostly naughty and sexy ones. She just passed me some new poses that she is working on called "Artistic Nudes" which she'll sell on the marketplace and in her store, Alterior Motions, as soon as she deems them ready for release. I found them inspiring and have taken several "artistic" pictures using these poses.

I was about to put on my pretty tiptoe feet from SLink, but noticed how April had posed feet so naturally, and I didn't want to mess that up. I'd seen that SLink had some new rigged mesh feet, so I popped over and picked up a demo. I could not believe how gorgeous these feet were, and how they adapted perfectly to the poses. See how lovely they are? Now that's artistic!

Also wearing the Lelutka Holiday Group Gift hair and the Glam Affair Linn skin, which matched to my new feet like a dream.
